Join emerging artist Boglárka Tóth for her immersive solo exhibition in the Stryx Cafe and Gallery for a long weekend packed with collaborative workshops, demonstrations and interactive pieces.
The exhibition will explore themes of creativity, womanhood, spirituality and folklore.
Boglárka was born in Hungary and has lived in England since 2017. She studied at the Bristol School of Art where she experimented with a range of media including textiles, ceramics and woodwork. Her practice is rooted in her cultural heritage and in her rural upbringing in North-East Hungary surrounded by nature and traditional craft making.
She uses emotional mapping as a tool to translate inner landscapes into tangible pieces. Her intuitive creative process serves as an opportunity for reflection and meaning-making.
The show will run between the 22nd and the 25th of August and will feature a selection of artworks spanning over ten years including recent work. You will have the opportunity to view and purchase original artworks and prints on the spot.
Come along and tap into Boglárka’s decorative world of colour and pattern and have a play with found objects and recycled materials while you connect with your creative-self and with others in a fun and relaxed environment.
