Finding Common Ground. London & Manchester
Join us for our upcoming creative workshops!
Summer tends to be the time of travelling and as soon as the schools are out many of the EU citizens living in the UK flock to the airports to go home to visit our countries, families and old hangouts. Now as the summer draws to an end we return back home to the UK, to our families and local hangouts. Home from home, local by choice.
At the3million we have been making a point that ‘this is our home’ and ‘we’re here to stay’ as well as sharing people’s stories and campaigning tirelessly because we want EU citizens and all migrants to feel they truly belong here, are safe and valued and that our being here is contribution enough.
We will be exploring the concept of home and what makes us feel at home in the UK in a fun creative way at our upcoming workshops in London (5 September 2023, 17:30 to 21:00) and Manchester (6 September 2023, 17:30 to 21:00)and we’d love you to join us and bring a friend!
The workshops are one of the ways to get involved with Common Ground work and bring EU communities in the UK together, share our stories and build people power to work collectively to effect positive changes. We will soon be announcing further opportunities to join our working groups, attend Common Ground conference and join our arts, journalism and town twinning campaigns.
